School Council At Trafalgar Infant School we have a dedicated School Council which consists of two elected members from each Key Stage One class for the Autumn and Spring Terms. In the Summer Term, one child from each Reception class is elected to join the School Council. The School Council meet regularly to discuss and agree on various school issues. Their meetings are held at lunchtime and are minuted by the teacher leading the meeting. School Council members each have their own badge and clipboard for collecting the views of their peers. Before and after each School Council meeting circle time is dedicated to this matter in each classroom. School Council members use this forum to gather ideas and opinions and then feed back following the meetings. School Council members are also encouraged to report on decisions and deliver messages to the whole school during assemblies. There is a School Council noticeboard near the main reception area that displays photographs of the School Council representatives and the date of the next meeting.
