Free Resources for Parents & Carers

We know that for children to be able to learn, they need to be happy, confident, understand themselves and their feelings and know how to get on with each other and make friends.

To help the children with this, we are working in school on a series of specifically focused lessons and activities that develop these key skills - the Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL).

To support the work that we are doing in this area, a Nationally recognised resource as been created to support parents and carers in the work that they do on these aspects at home. It contains activities and games for you to use as and when you would like, and is organised into seven main themes, which are:

New Beginnings
Getting On and Falling Out
Say No to Bullying
Going for Goals!
Good to be Me
Relationships
Changes

Each section is aimed at developing a different skill, and it does not matter which order you do the activities in; they can be chosen as they become relevant or you can work through them in your own way. You can access these resources by clicking on the links below, or take paper copies of each theme from the outside the office, where they can be found in a stand by the main door.
